For The People Of Tibet
The goal of this initiative is to draw attention to the immense value of Tibet for our world. The profound Buddhist knowledge of the powers within each individual to enable each person to lead a fulfilling life is not an alien or antiquated idea. Many millions of people on this earth have already profited from this knowledge, have come into contact with other impressive people who practise this faith or have drawn courage and strength from Buddhism in times of great need.
This land with its unique culture, its profound knowledge, its people with their boundless benevolence must be preserved for the world. Every person must recognize this fact when listening to the wonderful mantra, sung by the Tibetan singer Dechen Shak Dagsay, which have given us support and sustenance in our project from the very outset.
We are not an organisation and we have no intention of presenting a petition to any particular person. We are simply two individuals who have undertaken to form this initiative.
The initiative "For The People Of Tibet" Is not directed against anyone in particular – its sole purpose is to appeal for humanity and the preservation of a unique culture.
